Tenant Data Sharing

Citu does not share tenant verification or screening data by default.

When a Tenant applies for or is considered for a specific property, tenant verification data will only be shared with the relevant Professional for that specific property, and only after the Tenant has explicitly granted access.

This access is:

  • revocable where legally and technically possible.

By granting access, the Tenant authorizes Citu to transmit the selected verification data solely for the purpose of evaluating the rental application for that property.

Data provided by Professionals is never shared with third parties, except where strictly necessary to:

  • operate the Platform (e.g. hosting or payment infrastructure),
  • comply with legal or regulatory obligations.

Professional data is not sold, rented, or used for third-party marketing under any circumstances.

  • trusted service providers acting on Citu’s behalf under strict confidentiality obligations,
  • legal or regulatory authorities when required by law or to protect Citu’s rights and security.
